Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how T1A Capital collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with this public website and its client sign-in features. It does not replace any separate privacy notice that may be provided to clients or investors under applicable financial privacy laws, including Regulation S-P or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, organization, and professional role.
  • Account and authentication information, such as username, password credentials maintained in protected form by WordPress, sign-in status, and account-security events.
  • Communications, including information you choose to provide in an inquiry or other correspondence.
  • Technical and usage information, including aggregate page paths, page-view counts, approximate anonymous sessions, broad referral-source categories, coarse device categories, timestamps, and hosting or security logs.
  • Cookie and preference information, including essential session cookies and a local-storage record of your cookie-notice preference.

Please do not provide account numbers, government identification numbers, wire instructions, passwords, or other sensitive financial information through public website forms or ordinary email.

Sources of information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from service providers that help operate and secure the website, and, where lawful and relevant, from public or professional sources.

Website inquiries and CRM records

When you submit an Institutional or Media inquiry, the website stores the information you provide—including your name, email address, organization, professional role, telephone number, and message—in a restricted WordPress customer-relationship-management record. Authorized staff may add an assignment, workflow status, follow-up date, internal notes, and response history so the firm can manage and document its response. A notification containing the inquiry is also sent to the firm’s designated recipient.

The inquiry system does not store your raw IP address or browser user-agent string in the CRM record. It uses a short-lived, keyed representation of an IP address only to limit automated or abusive submissions. Hosting and security providers may separately maintain technical logs as described elsewhere in this policy.

How we use information

We may use personal information to operate, maintain, and secure the website; authenticate users and administer authorized access; respond to inquiries; provide requested information; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and cybersecurity incidents; comply with legal, regulatory, recordkeeping, and risk-management obligations; enforce our terms; and improve website reliability and accessibility.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses cookies that are necessary for WordPress authentication, security, and core functionality. It also uses local storage to remember whether you dismissed the cookie notice. A first-party, cookie-free analytics feature records aggregate page paths, page views, approximate sessions, broad source categories, and coarse device categories so T1A Capital can understand website performance. It uses a random temporary token in your browser’s session storage to avoid counting every page in the same tab as a new session; the server retains only a keyed representation of that token for approximately 30 minutes. The analytics feature does not store raw IP addresses, full referrer URLs or domains, user-agent strings, persistent analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, or cross-site profiles, and it excludes logged-in visits and supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track browser signals. If advertising or other third-party analytics technologies are added, this policy and the website’s consent controls should be reviewed and updated before deployment.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to hosting, information-technology, cybersecurity, communications, and other service providers that process information on our behalf; to legal, compliance, accounting, audit, insurance, and other professional advisers; to regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when required or permitted by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; and in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of a business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Based on the current operation of this website, T1A Capital does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising on this website.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to provide access, respond to requests, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the applicable requirements.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and should notify us promptly through a trusted contact method if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive information about collection and disclosure; restrict or object to certain processing; or appeal a decision concerning a request. Where applicable, you may also have rights to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a request, use our Contact page and identify the request as a privacy matter. To protect you and others, we may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Third-party websites

This website may link to services that T1A Capital does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

Processing in the United States

The website is operated in the United States. If you access it from another jurisdiction, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
